What We Do

We believe empathy, curiosity, and the fit between client and therapist are critical ingredients to good therapy. Psychotherapy can not only alleviate symptoms, but it can also be transformative to your sense of self, your confidence, and your relationships.

Culver Psychotherapy clinicians are trained in current, empirically-based treatment modalities including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, and integrative approaches. Our therapists provide individual, couples, and group therapy options. Some of our collective specialty areas include:

  • Anxiety disorders and OCD

  • Depression and mood disorders

  • Autism Spectrum

  • Stress management

  • LGBTQIA+ issues

  • Substance abuse

  • Identity development

  • Multicultural issues

  • Grief and loss

  • Relationship problems

  • Trauma

  • Purpose, creativity, motivation

  • Self-esteem

Telehealth

All therapy sessions are currently held via HIPAA compliant video conferencing.

Though we sometimes miss the ritual of welcoming clients into our physical space — that cup of tea as you wait for your session to start — we have found virtual work to be extremely rewarding for our clients.

In addition to greater flexibility in hours and scheduling, we have been honored to be brought into your homes and office spaces and to grow the therapeutic alliance with existing and new clients. Telehealth may not be the right fit for everyone but, if you are interested, we encourage you to explore new ways of ritualizing your weekly session and creating that emotional and physical space to bring yourself into the “therapy room.”
