Delena Zimmerman, LMFT
Who isn’t seeking wisdom and clarity in times of confusion, pain, and often in fear? As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Delena Zimmerman helps you to explore your personal wisdom and clarity as it mirrors itself in your relationship with yourself, your relationship with family, and the relationships you have in the world in which you live.
Delena meets you right where you are, and it is her passion to join with you and collaborate in the solutions that make life worth living. She understands that it is difficult asking for help when you are struggling with life’s issues, so Delena takes pride in providing a safe, non-judgmental environment to discard those feelings of guilt, shame, and hopelessness.
For two decades, Delena has worked with those that suffer from alcoholism, addiction, grief, and loss. Delena supports individuals facing depression and anxiety, she holds a space for the courageous who want to sort out their relationships, and she also works with the family system and all of its rules, myths, and dynamics.
Leveraging Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions, Delena works with individuals, groups, and families to shift perceptions and beliefs. She believes that all solutions are found within. It is Delena’s life work to support you in discovering the life changing answers to your own soul.
Delena received a Master’s in Psychology from Phillips Graduate University, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and a concentration in Co-Occurring Disorders. She has also practiced for 10 years as an Agape Licensed Spiritual Practitioner. Delena is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist by the Board of Behavioral Services #110297.
